Bilsthorpe Flying High Academy children welcomed Rob Rose, of BBC Radio Nottingham, (above) into school and appeared live on the Sarah Julian Breakfast Show.

Children shared their Christmas wishes with Rob and the listeners, and were surprised by a visit from Santa Claus and a reindeer.

Head teacher Samantha Leek said: “The children were fantastic, and we are all very proud of them. What a great memory this will be for them in years to come. The school would also like to thank the Edwinstowe and Dukeries Lions Club, in particular Jonathan Yarwood and Adam Murphey, for making the day so special.”
