Wonderland classic car festival returns

Stars of film, television, and the media is the theme for the 24th Wonderland Classic & Sports Car Festival at Ferry Farm Fields, Hoveringham, on the weekend of 28th and 29th June.

Cars, or lookalike cars, from films, television restoration programmes, dramas, documentaries and more, or from articles in magazines and advertising, are wanted for the festival.

This year the star atmosphere will boosted further by the appearance of characters from the Star Wars East Midlands Garrison.
Rock Choir (Midlands) are due to perform on the Sunday lunchtime.

Sarah ‘Crabbers’ Crabtree, formerly of the TV show ‘Bangers & Cash’, will chat about her role with Evoke Classics.

The Saturday is free entry Preview Day, from 12noon to 8pm. A Car of the Night trophy and prize package will be awarded at 8pm.
The preview day is an opportunity for the public to enjoy many of the vehicles at a leisurely pace.

Sunday is Show ‘n’ Shine Day, from 10am to 4pm. Judging includes categories for vehicles from around the world manufactured or registered before 31.12.10, including British classics, American ‘Muscle’ cars, and a display of European classic and sports car legends – models from across the Ford range, custom cars, Rods, vintage cars, modified cars, and vehicles of special interest such as kit cars, military and commercial vehicles.

Classicwise will again be the headline sponsor for this year’s festival.

Enthusiasts and visitors will have the opportunity to to view a range of classic vehicles for sale and to learn more about the wide range of services that Classicwise offers.
