Tribute bands in all-day festival StagsFest at football ground

Posted onPosted on 18th Mar

All-day music festival StagsFest is returning for 2025 after the success of last year’s inaugural event (pictured).

It will run for 12 hours at Mansfield Town FC’s One Call Stadium on Saturday, 26th July.

The Radford Foundation Marquee will host six tribute acts alongside The Usual Suspects — an indie-rock band who wowed crowds at the club’s Oktoberfest in 2024.

Doors for the festival open at 11am with the first act scheduled to take to the outdoor stage at 12noon.

Bands playing at StagsFest2025 are: The Usual Suspects, Taylored Swift, The Take That Experience, Almost Pink, Aladdinsane (The Sound & Vision of Bowie), Blondied, and Flash: A Tribute to Queen.

The family-friendly event will include a children’s play area on 3G astroturf with inflatables and face painting also available. Further activities will be on offer throughout the day, such as an opportunity to meet club mascots Sammy The Stag and Sally The Stag.

Tickets will cost: Adults, £25 early bird, £30 on the day. 8-17 years, £15 early bird, £20 on the day. Family (two adults and two 8-17 years), £70. Under-8s, free (with a full paying adult ticket).

Last year the event led to a presentation of £1,400 to John Eastwood Hospice, Sutton, following fundraising at StagsFest and a donation from The Radford Foundation, set up by Mansfield Town owners John Radford and Carolyn Radford to help the development of young people in Mansfield and other charitable initiatives in the area.
