St Patrick’s Day at The Black Market Venue in Warsop was more than just a night of live folk music and good times — it was also a community effort to support those in need, writes Rob Roe.

The free St Paddy’s Day event, organised with the support of landlord Dave Drury, landlady Colleen Drury, manager Siobhan Sorrell, and Andrew Bart Hawkins, raised £200 for a foodbank in the town, along with food donations.

The bands — Paul Carbuncle, Star Botherers, and Parson’s Lot— donated their time to the community event.
