St Michael’s Church in Pleasley is hosting its annual Flower Festival and Well Dressing in July.

The festival will run from Saturday, 13th July, to Wednesday 17th. It starts at 10am on the Saturday.

The flowers in the ancient church promise to be spectacular and the decorated Well is a work of art, taking many hours to prepare.

The theme this year is for those ‘Fondly Remembered’.

There will be refreshments available daily and there will be stalls on Saturday and Sunday.

On Sunday music will be provided by the award-winning Pleasley Colliery Welfare Band, with the blessing of the Well taking place at 3pm.

All the events are free.
