Mansfield Choral Society is presenting Concert for Peace in April to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of the second world war.

Held at St Mark’s Church, Mansfield, on Saturday, 26th April, it will feature Duruflé’s Requiem in commemoration and honour of those who gave their lives in the conflict.

The concert will also celebrate peace through the performance of several light and uplifting favourite pieces.

It starts at 7.30pm and tickets, priced £15 (£5 for accompanied under-16s), include a programme and refreshments. They are available at www.mansfieldchoral.org.uk
