The Old Meeting House Mansfield is inviting people to a Celebration of Spring concert with music and readings, followed by refreshments, on Sunday, 28th April, at 3pm.

The musical part of the event will be provided by Mansfield-based Forest Singers, under the leadership of Vicki Melling, with members and friends of the chapel contributing poetry and short prose.

Mária Pap, of the chapel, said: “Spring brings us the wonders and joys of rebirth and renewal, and invites us to proclaim our gladness as a gift to the world even when sorrow and uncertainty abound. Do come along on the last Sunday in April and join us in sharing this joy through words, music, and fellowship.

“The event is free and everyone is welcome. Limited parking is provided.”

The Old Meeting House Mansfield can be accessed next to Walkden Street car park for vehicles, and for pedestrians off Stockwell Gate, by B&M.
