The concert will take place on Friday, 2nd February in the Newstart Theatre, Portland College, and feature Mansfield’s Cantamus Girls Choir as well as Our Dementia Choir. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

Formed in 2018, Our Dementia Choir has taken part in ground-breaking research into dementia patients’ emotional responses to singing. It is also set to benefit from the current Oar Blimey transatlantic row by Mansfield brothers-in-law George Nelson and Russ Davis.
Money raised by the rowers will be shared by the choir and Ladybrook Enterprises, a Mansfield charity that wants to refurbish part of its building to create a dementia hub, making it easier for patients with dementia to have a safe and recognisable place to go for appointments.
