The music of Roy Orbison, George Michael, Take That and many more, together with ghosts, rock legends and pantomime feature in the new season at Mansfield Palace Theatre.
There are more than 50 shows from October to March next year.
Rock legend Francis Rossi, of Status Quo fame, will bring his Tunes And Chat show on 25th October, while comedian Geoff Norcott is performing his Basic Bloke stand-up show on 14th February.
And Eastenders’ Cheryl Fergison stars in Mum’s The Word on on Sunday, 8th October.
For Halloween, there will be film screenings of Coco (24th October) and Nightmare Before Christmas (25th October), plus I Spy With My Little Eye (23rd October) and a family Spooktacular (27th October).
Also for families are popular children’s tales brought to life on stage, such as The Tin Man (2nd November) and Peace At Last by Jill Murphy (5th and 6th November), as well as Tom Fletcher’s new venture, There’s A Monster In Your Show, on Wednesday 18th and Thursday, 19th October.
Oh, What a Lovely War! on 11th October promises to be a moving musical, a no-holds-barred assault on the military incompetence and inconceivable disregard for human life the first world war has come to represent.
Fans of musicals will hear some of their favourite show tunes at Dreamcoat Stars (14th October) and Beyond The Barricade (17th October).
Cult TV shows Most Haunted (13th October) and Stranger Sings (16th and 17th March) will be brought to life on stage while Tap Factory are at the Palace as part of their tenth anniversary tour on 22nd February.
The Ukrainian National Opera will perform the timeless opera, Madama Butterfly, on 2nd March.
Local amateurs return for the new season with Masque Productions putting on Cinderella from 7th to 11th November, and Mansfield Operatic Society staging Kinky Boots from 6th to 10th March.
New Youth Theatre are presenting their version of Into The Woods on 13th and 14th November.
Christmas starts early when Neil Sands brings his Christmas Memories matinee show on 31st October.
CBBC’s Tracey Beaker, Dani Harmer, will star alongside comedian Adam Moss in the theatre’s annual pantomime, Beauty And The Beast, from 25th November to 31st December.
Sleeping Beauty will be performed by Westfield Folkhouse Pantomime Group, from 13th to 21st January, and The Adventures Of Robin Hood by Mansfield Hospitals Theatre Troupe, from 27th January to 3rd February.
