Chesterfield-based Ashgate Hospicecare has received a £500 donation from The Mansfield Building Society’s Community Support Scheme to buy a TV for its day hospice.

The Mansfield’s Chesterfield branch supervisor, Claire Richardson, said: “We are delighted to provide these funds. The hospice provides much needed care and support to the local community. It was great to see how many people were making use of the TV on my visit.”
