Mansfield-based fire and security experts Total Integrated Solutions (TIS) has added its backing to the work of the Mansfield, Ashfield and Warsop News Journal in these difficult times.

The Mansfield company, based on the Oakham Business Park, has agreed to join our list of page sponsors to support our work in spreading the good news that is still happening across our area — perhaps now more so than ever before — as the world fights the coronavirus pandemic.

The News Journal relies on advertising and sponsorship to showcase the heartwarming and generous work that is thriving in our communities, despite the unprecedented affects of Covid-19, both in this monthly ‘good news’ FREE newspaper and on our website and social media channels.

Understandably many of our regular local advertisers are asking us to suspend their advertising because their business is not operating in any practical way, either because they are not on the approved list of workers or they cannot trade online.

But TIS and the managing director of the commercial, fire, security and CCTV experts, James Twigg, have agreed to sponsor one of our pages for a year to help the News Journal to continue to share the tremendous work that is going on from charities, businesses, organisations, volunteers, individuals and many more during the Covid-19 restrictions.

James said it was important that local papers were able to survive this crisis and spread positive news stories to celebrate the good news that often goes unnoticed in our towns and villages as well as pass on useful information at this time.

“We are very lucky to have a stable business that can weather this storm and it is important to us to back the good work that the News Journal continuously does for the community.
