Mansfield District Council is holding a number of briefing sessions for prospective candidates and election agents in preparation for the elections taking place in May this year.
Thursday 7 May 2015 will see Mansfield residents voting in four elections: Parliamentary, Mansfield District Council Mayoral and District elections and Warsop Parish Council elections.
Candidates and agents are invited to come along to the following sessions in the Civic Centre Council Chamber, Chesterfield Road South, Mansfield:
Everything you wanted to know about being a District Councillor or Executive Mayor
Thursday 5 February, 6pm – Everyone welcome. No need to pre-book.
An essential guide to elections – nominations, election expenses, polling and counting arrangements and more
Monday 23 February, 6pm (Parliamentary election only)
Thursday 26 February, 6pm (District/Mayoral and Parish elections only)
