Tell council what you think of life in Mansfield

Posted onPosted on 31st Oct

Mansfield District Council has launched a new Citizens’ Survey to find out what local people think of life in the district.

The survey is available to fill in at www.mansfield.gov.uk/citizenssurvey until Monday, 10th December.

Paper versions are available by calling Ross Bean, Policy and Information Officer, on 01623 463438 or emailing [email protected]

Those who take part have a chance to win a £25 shopping voucher.

The topics the survey cover include:

• Health and wellbeing
• Local neighbourhood and community
• Aspirations and prosperity
• Financial issues
• Satisfaction with local services.

The results of the survey will help the council to identify what kind of issues are important to residents to assist in future planning and decision making on providing and improving services.

Executive Mayor of Mansfield Kate Allsop said: “It is very important from time to time that we carry out surveys of this kind and I hope that a good number of people take part.

“It is only by knowing the views of the people who live and work here that we can really know how best to meet their aspirations and how to provide better services.

“People can also contact us in other ways to tell us about our services, such via the feedback link on our website homepage or simply by emailing [email protected].”

All answers to the Citizen Survey can be given anonymously and are treated in confidence. The council said the information would be used only for research and service improvement purposes.
