Adcock Financial has nominated older people’s charity Cornwater Evergreens, based in Ravenshead, as the charity it will be supporting during 2023.

The Farnsfield company has been offering financial planning advice for more than 30 years to individuals and businesses.

It is encouraging existing clients to recommend Adcock services — and for each recommendation, Adcock will donate £50 to Cornwater Evergreens.

Becky Womble, of Adcock Financial, said: “The Cornwater Club has touched many lives in Ravenshead and the surrounding areas, and we are delighted to be working with them this year. We look forward to our partnership and to supporting the great work it does.”

Cornwater Evergreens chief executive Melissa Blythe said “We are really looking forward to working with Adcock Financial and are very grateful for its support.

“Our Friendship Clubs are a lifeline for many local older people, offering companionship, a range of exciting activities, and a freshly-prepared meal. Without the clubs many older people could face the prospect of being in their own homes alone.”
