B&Q at Sutton is encouraging families to get outdoors and enjoy nature wuth a series of how-to videos and free in-store activities.
The activities will demonstrate how children can support nature in their own outdoor space. Running throughout August, the in-store activities will see children make their own bird feeder and plant a pollinator, which will bloom in spring ready for hungry bees.
Each session will last around ten minutes and staff at B&Q, Sutton, will show how to create the feeders and pollinators.
How-to videos include tips such as ‘how to build your own tepee’ and ‘how to design a mini garden’. Videos can be found on B&Q’s YouTube channel www.youtube.com/bandq
