A student networking event has been held for Brunts Academy teenagers to showcase their skills to 25 employers and professionals.
The inaugural Brunts Student Networking event — featured live on Mansfield 103.2’s breakfast show — was organised by the Mansfield school’s intern and student, Cally Lambert.
The director of marketing and enterprise, Berni Dickinson from The Evolve Trust, which runs the academy, hosted the event, sponsored by Mansfield 2020.
“It is overwhelming to see how well the students adapted to a new situation and impressed the businesses involved,” she said.
