Members of Mansfield Town Community Trust team are tackling a 77km walk over three days to raise money for mental health initiatives at the football club.
Mitchell Scotford, Bradley Giles and Alex Cartwright (pictured) will walk from Huddersfield Town FC’s John Smith’s Stadium to the Stags’ One Call Stadium, on 5th to 7th December, aiming to arrive in time for the League One match between the two clubs on the Saturday.
They want to raise £2,000 to extend the trust’s mental health programmes, which include peer support, tackling isolation, and providing emotional wellbeing.
The match will be a celebration of work done by the trust, highlighting programmes that give back to the community, from mental health initiatives to youth development, and other support projects.
Mansfield Town fans can donate at the match and also at www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/mtctcharitywalk?utm_term=bpj3dRavz
