Mansfield mayor Andy Abrahams has highlighted growing retail confidence in the town after international coffee business Starbucks opened in the Four Seasons Shopping Centre.

Starbucks has moved into a unit previously occupied by Thomas Cook travel agents, close to Mansfield Library.

Andy said: “It shows footfall in Mansfield is growing, confidence in the town is growing, and this is symbolic of Mansfield recovering.

“I’m really pleased to have a national chain like Starbucks in Mansfield.

“It’s providing employment and is an opportunity.”

Starbucks district manager Anne Coleman, pictured with the mayor at the official opening, said it was a great time to join the Mansfield community.
