Former Olympic and world champion swimmer turned TV celebrity Mark Foster is to be the guest speaker at a sporting dinner.

Foster will be helping the Armchair Club raise money to support the sporting talent of the Mansfield area.

He became the most-decorated male British swimmer, winning 51 major international medals, and went to five Olympics.

Since then Foster has been a regular on TV shows such as Strictly Come Dancing.

Since it was formed in 1982 by local business people, the Armchair Club has donated more than £200,000.
