Members of Stags supporters group MSE, lifelong fans of Mansfield Town FC, decided to use their love of the game to raise money for charity.

Their Christmas party at the Crown and Anchor, Mansfield, became a fundraiser for the John Eastwood Hospice, Sutton, as many of the group have been affected by cancer.

Through sponsorship, donations for the event from local businesses, a raffle and auctioning two signed football shirts, the group raised £3,000 for the charity
