Mansfield Swimming Club held its annual Club Championships at Water Meadows across four weeks in June.

Swimmers were ready to swim for licensed times against their friends from within the club.
There were 81 swimmers across all age-groups, including beginners width. They completed a total of 579 swims across all events throughout the sessions, with 416 personal bests recorded as well as 47 club championship records and 22 short course club records.

A spokesman said: “It has been a truly amazing year with great swimmers, families, volunteers, officials and coaches.

“The atmosphere was through the roof at times with swimmers supporting and encouraging each other to achieve personal bests, as well as county championship qualifying times if not already achieved ready for the 2020 Notts ASA County Championships, leading into the Midlands Championships.

“It is with great pleasure that we congratulate each and every member of Mansfield Swimming Club on their success in the pool, securing a positive future to look forward to with many hoping to achieve a high level of competitive swimming. All swimmers who took part will be awarded at the annual presentation night to celebrate their achievements.
