Over the course of the 2024/25 season, Mansfield Town Ladies have been competing in the Nottinghamshire FA Women’s County Cup alongside the East Midlands Women’s League, where they currently sit fourth in the Premier Division, writes Sarah Metcalfe.

The ladies have had a spectacular run throughout the cup, most recently beating Notts County 4-2 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in the semi-final. The well-worked Mansfield goal was scored by Olivia Wheatcroft.

They will face Basford United ladies in the final – on a date to be confirmed – after Basford’s impressive second-half performance saw them beat Arnold Eagles 4-2.
