Heating company Valliant UK, which has a base in Sutton, has donated 10 laptops to Mansfield Town FC Academy to help players with their education.
The donation from Valliant UK, a manufacturer of boilers, heat pumps, and heating systems, will enable the under-18s to use modern technology when tackling work and analysis-based tasks on their individual and team performances.
“It is great to have formed a partnership with Valliant,” said the head of education at the Stags’ academy, Tom Chapman, pictured receiving one of the laptops from Fiona Ridgard, of Valliant UK.
“These laptops are key pieces of equipment to aid players as they complete their education alongside their football.
“The equipment will allow players to complete necessary BTEC and SEP work, as well as undertake relevant research and complete analysis tasks based on individual and team performances.
“We are always striving to give the best education possible to all our players and help fulfil their potential, alongside their football development to aid them in their future.
“With this aim in mind, a solid education will provide our players with a back-up plan and varying opportunities for the future. We cannot thank Valliant enough for this donation.”
