Mansfield Building Society has given £125 to Derby Braves American Football Club from The Society’s Community Support Scheme.

Gareth Ellison, of Derby Braves, which runs a community sports club and competes nationally, said: “We would like to thank The Mansfield. The funds supplied will enable us to promote taster sessions at schools and colleges in the local area.”

The Mansfield’s marketing co-ordinator, Mandy Whitten, said: “It’s great to see a group that encourages female sports participation and inspires ladies to take part, which will improve their confidence, health and mental well being.”
