Sherwood Forest Hospitals is inviting local organisations specialising in health and wellbeing, to share their knowledge and expertise with staff at a special marketplace event in October.

The annual Staff and Wellbeing Event takes place from 9 to 10 October, near the main entrance of King’s Mill Hospital.

It is an opportunity for local businesses and companies (including charities) to champion healthy lifestyles, mental wellbeing and personal development to staff, patients and visitors.

Karen Fisher, Executive Director of Human Resources at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said: “This is a popular event where people can learn all about healthy living, emotional wellbeing and hobbies that support this.

“Studies have shown that a healthy balanced lifestyle boosts confidence, productivity and positivity in the home and workplace.”

The deadline for booking a stand is Friday, 19 September. Places are limited; book early to guarantee a space.
