The Sir John Cockle pub, Mansfield, and fundraisers Venus Sound organised a family fun day that raised £1,728 for Fountaindale School, Mansfield.

A spokesman for the school, which offers an inclusive education for pupils, aged 3 to 19, who have complex physical and sensory needs, said: “It was a fantastic day and there was a great turnout, helped by brilliant weather. Money raised will be put towards providing sensory music equipment and toys for children with more complex learning difficulties and sensory needs.”
