A new Slimming World group launches in Clipstone on Friday. It will meets in the Village Hall weekly on Fridays, from 9.15am to 10.45am.

Heather Arthur, who has lost nearly three stones herself, is leading the group as consultant, supported by her husband, Jeff, who so far has lost almost 10 stones.

Heather said she wanted to inspire people who need help to lift the burden of being overweight.

Anyone interested in joining the group should go to Clipstone Village Hall, 90 Church Road, between 9.15am and 10.45am on a Friday.
