Children from Oak Tree Primary School, Mansfield, display some of the books they are donating to the Nightingale Centre at Great Hucklow, Derbyshire.
For many years a group of year 6 pupils from the school have benefited from a week’s holiday at the centre, which is funded by Send A Child To Hucklow charity.
Last year’s Oak Tree pupils who went to Hucklow wanted to say thank you for their holiday and give something back to the centre that other groups of children could benefit from.
They came up with the idea of Booklow For Hucklow and asked all children in the school if they had any good books at home that could be donated for other children to read and enjoy.
The pupils collected three bags full of books that were donated to the charity at a special presentation.
