As part of the continuing partnership between the specialist Portland College and Sandicliffe Hucknall, a brand new campaign has been launched in the run-up to Christmas. The ‘Let’s Decorate Portland’ campaign is calling on members of the public to donate unwanted Christmas decorations to the College and, in return, Sandicliffe are offering some great discounts on services and MOTs.

To help the campaign, members of the public are being asked to recycle any good quality Christmas decorations that are no longer required by simply dropping them off at any Sandicliffe showroom in Nottingham by Sunday, 22nd November.

Decorations will be used across the Portland College campus over the festive period to decorate classrooms and social areas and at their annual Christmas market.

Neil Peacock, Manager of Sandicliffe Hucknall, said: “The ‘Let’s Decorate Portland’ campaign is a great opportunity to have a clear out of the loft and to donate your unwanted ornaments, lights and even Christmas trees to a local, worthwhile cause. All donations will help to brighten up the College for its learners with learning and physical disabilities.

“As a ‘thank you’ to everyone who brings in their unwanted Christmas decorations by 22 November, every donation will entitle the donator to £30 off a service or MOT”

To benefit from this offer, simply book your MOT or Service when dropping of your items at any Sandicliffe showroom. The offer is available on bookings made between now and 31st Jan 2016. You can drop your unwanted decorations to Hucknall Ford, Stapleford Ford, Trent Bridge Ford, Basford Kia & Mazda or Nottingham Skoda and Nissan.

Mr Peacock from Sandicliffe, the new and used car experts, added: “Portland College and Sandicliffe Hucknall have been working together since January 2015 in order to raise money and public awareness for the College and their Inclusive Sports Academy Campaign.

“We’re delighted to support this campaign and urge everyone to donate their unwanted Christmas decorations to this excellent cause.”
