Digital marketing consultant Mitch Brown, who works for South Normanton-based Purpose Media, is to run the 2016 Virgin Money London Marathon on 24th April.

He aims to raise £2,000 for Cancer Research UK.

“Running the marathon has always been an ambition of mine and I’m delighted that I’ve been lucky enough to be accepted to take part,” Mitch said.

“Cancer does not discriminate – it can effect anyone.

“Most of us know someone who has suffered or been affected by cancer.

“I hope the money I raise will help towards finding a cure for cancer so that more lives can be saved.”
