Independent district councillor Martin Wright interrupted his Holly Ward litter clearing in Forest Town to pop into the regular St Alban’s Church coffee morning.

He met the knitting group, whose members were making decorative knitted flowers ready for Forest Town celebrating the coronation of King Charles III later this year. Martin was so impressed with the ommunity spirit that he offered to help fund the required materials.
