Mansfield Building Society has awarded £500 to Reach Learning Disability in Mansfield to buy comfortable chairs for people who attend the centre.

Reach Learning Disability supports adults with learning disabilities to reach beyond their own and other people’s expectations.

Catherine Shatwell, of Reach Learning Disability, said: “We are grateful to The Mansfield. Our old chairs did not provide the support for our clients, many of whom have physical disabilities.”

The Mansfield’s marketing co-ordinator, Mandy Whitten, pictured presenting a cheque to Catherine, said: “Reach Learning Disability provides a safe social environment for many local people.”
