THIS Christmas radio station Mansfield 103.2 has again teamed up with local businesses to raise money for the Children’s Ward at King’s Mill Hospital and the John Eastwood Hospice.
It is the 13th year of the appeal and 103.2 sales director Paul Chadbourne said the station wanted to raise as much money as possible to help both worthy causes.
Over the past 12 years it has collected more than £40,000 and donated thousands of toys and games.
Money can be donated at collections points at Smyths Toys on Portland Retail Park and Casey’s Coffee Bar on White Hart Street, Mansfield; Label Traders on Kirkby Road, Sutton; United Carpets on Old Mill Lane and Parkhall Financial Services, Market Place, Mansfield Woodhouse; Freestyle Trampoline Park on Lowmoor Road, Kirkby; and Forest Town Arena.
Paul added: “Thank you to every single local business that has already given us their support. We really appreciate it.
“If you want to get involved or make a donation, please contact us on 01623 646666 or see our website www.mansfield103.co.uk and click on the Kings Mill Hospital Toy Appeal link.”
Mansfield 103.2 managing director Tony Delahunty said: “We are so proud to have been involved for the last 12 years and, along with the generosity of the businesses in Mansfield, Ashfield and Bolsover, to have raised so much money for the Children’s Ward and other local good causes.”
