Rainbows Hospice needs community support

Posted onPosted on 29th Aug

A charity that cares for babies, children and young people from Nottinghamshire is asking people to support its Summer Appeal.

Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People needs to raise around £12m a year to provide its vital services at the hospice, at home and in hospital to more than 750 babies, children and young people, including those from Nottinghamshire. Only receiving 13% of government funding, Rainbows could not do this without the help of its supporters in Nottinghamshire.

Nishil Saujani, director of supporter relations and marketing at Rainbows, said: “We appreciate times might be tough for people at the moment. But we are asking people to dig deep into their hearts and help us to make the most incredible and special memories for our families who need us at their darkest times.

“At Rainbows, we provide such a range of expert care, therapies and services for the whole family. And this isn’t limited to our hospice; it is at home and in hospital as well – we provide these services wherever our families need us. We are truly a lifeline and with your help, we can continue to provide our support to those who desperately need us.”
