Pupils showcase DARE skills

Year 6 pupils at Berry Hill Primary School, Mansfield, celebrated graduating from the DARE (Drug Awareness Resistance Education) programme with a special assembly in school for parents and carers.

It showcased the children’s knowledge of the life-skills they had developed as well as their engagement with the programme.

During lessons with DARE Mr Vincent, pupils learnt about the different drug types, how to keep themselves safe, and the different ways to communicate confidently and assertively, including how to respond to peer pressure.
