Key Stage 1 pupils at Mansfield’s Crescent Primary School took part in Community Clear-Up Day, a national spring-clean backed by the government, that aimed to spruce-up the country’s high streets, residential and business areas, villages and parks.

The event was organised by teacher Mrs Alison Murfitt, back row second right, and governor Mr Roy Chapman, back right, with the support of governor and volunteer Mrs Lisa Harris, back left, and parent volunteer Mrs Helen Millard, back second left.
