A Mansfield pub reopened following a significant investment that led to the creation of five new jobs.
The Oak Tree on Southwell Road West received a complete makeover to bring a fresh look and feel to the venue.
As part of the investment, the pub introduced a lighter colour scheme, extra seating in the beer garden and 4K TVs throughout, including two big screens.
The pub also unveiled a new menu that featured dishes such as chickpea, spinach and sweet potato curry, the Big Daddy Burger with barbeque-pulled pork and streaky bacon, as well as traditional apple Crumble.
Oak Tree general manager Ros Palmer said: “The Oak Tree is at the heart of the Mansfield community, so we are excited to be able to offer a place for locals to enjoy a drink or meal in enhanced surroundings.
“The opening was a real success, with great feedback from guests on the delicious new menu and the fantastic interiors.
“My team and I look forward to welcoming more guests in the coming weeks.”
