Portland College tutor Chris Wynne and his colleagues used resources on-site to make face visors to help protect staff, learners and residents against coronavirus — and are making more for the community.

Learning support assistant Carl Wright delivered 15 to Clipstone Hall and Lodge Care Home, while college principal Mark Dale (pictured) presented King’s Mill Hospital’s Dr Irena Guzik with another 15 visors for its Intensive Care Unit.

The college hopes to continue producing visors for NHS staff.
