Ambassadors at Mansfield’s Crescent Primary School took part in a bulb planting at Bull Farm Park as part of a Mansfield District Council initiative to get children involved in local parks to reduce anti-social behaviour.
The students were joined by staff and volunteers to plant more than 5,000 crocus bulbs with the help of parks development officer Andy Chambers, pictured, left, with 11-year-old Kya McPherson, watched, from back left, by Holly England (11), Ellie-Mae Birks (6), school governor Mr Roy Chapman and 10-year-old Kelsey Bacon.
