Photos of King’s Mill NHS workers wanted for charity calendar

Posted onPosted on 27th Apr

Organisers of a unique fundraising calendar for NHS staff at King’s Mill Hospital, Sutton – and the family of a local victim of coronavirus – have put out an appeal.

The group of Mansfield men have bared all again for the fundraising calendar six years after their naked calendar raised £5,500 for the town’s Fountaindale School – with the aim of raising around £30,000 this time around.

They want photos of NHS workers at King’s Mill to feature in the calendar as a tribute to the work of the hospital and NHS staff during the Covid-19 crisis. A selection of the small NHS photos will feature on the page for each respective month alongside the main photo.

Mansfield’s Naked Calendar Men – Kingsmill NHS fund was set up on a Facebook page a couple of weeks ago and people have already donated around £2,500 on a JustGiving page set up at the end of last week.

People who make a minimum donation of £5.99 will have the option of receiving a calendar once they are available.

One of the men behind the calendar, Shaun Eden-Taylor, said: “We would like a lot of photos of NHS workers at King’s Mill to feature on the tribute page.”

To submit a photo of an NHS worker at King’s Mill Hospital, simply go to the calendar’s Facebook page and send in a photo, tagging in the name of the NHS member of staff.
