There is a last chance to view an exhibition by mining artist Brian Morley after Nottinghamshire Mining Museum announced that it is reopening.

Brian shines a light (or cap lamp) on the dangerous and unique working life of Nottinghamshire’s coal miners before their pits were closed in the 1960s, 70s, 80s, and 90s.

The museum is located at East Unit, Mansfield Railway Station, Station Road, Mansfield, Notts, NG18 1LP.

There is no need to book and the museum will be open from 10am to 2pm on Fridays 20th August, 27th August and 3rd September.
