New WI group in Mansfield

Posted onPosted on 25th Jul

A new Women’s Institute (WI) group in Mansfield is going from strength.

Mansfield Marians WI, which was set up in April, offers a range of activities.

It meets at Mansfield Bowling Club, next to Queen Elizabeth’s Academy, Chesterfield Road, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, usually on the third Thursday of every month.

The first meeting is free for prospective members.

Future events include a talk on holistic therapies at the next meeting, on August 24th.

At the September meeting, on Thursday 24th, there will be a talk titled Cotton — From Field To Fabric.
In October, Rebellious Rags — Make And Take will be led by Liz Veasey.

To join the group, go along to a meeting.
