The Mansfield Prince’s Trust is running a new Mansfield team programme from May in the 40th anniversary year of the organisation.

Anyone aged 16 to 25 who wants to take part is urged to get in touch with team leader Andy Ward on 07812 658619.

Based at the fire station on Rosemary Street, Mansfield, the team programme will run for 12 weeks from 16th May.

It aims to help young people gain a qualification in teamwork, employment and community skills along with basic first aid, manual handling and basic food hygiene.

The course also aims to develop their confidence and problem-solving skills — and help them leave with a well-constructed CV, including additional skills and experiences.

An open day for interested young people to find out more, apply, and be interviewed will be held on Wednesday, 11th May.
