A Mansfield business set up three weeks ago to provide face masks to the general public has made a donation of £1,500 to the NHS – thanks to its success.
Source Control Masks was set up by Malcolm Hall, of Hall-Fast Industrial Supplies, when he saw a demand for masks for use by the general public – masks that would not be suitable for use by health professionals.
He pledged to donate £5 to the NHS for every pack of five purchased at www.sourcecontrolmasks.co.uk and has now already handed over a £1,500 donation.
Malcolm said he hoped the donation to the Sherwood Forest Hospitals General Charitable Fund would be the first of many to the “fantastic NHS” and he thanked his customers for their support.
