Former Mansfield Rugby Club favourite Katie Buchanan is continuing her England career after being selected for the full national ladies’ training squad for the 2024 Guinness Women’s Six Nations.

The 20-year-old now plays for Exeter Chiefs, who are in the top three of the women’s Allianz Premiership.

Katie was part of the Chiefs side that won the 2022/23 Allianz Cup, as well as playing in the Allianz 15s semi-final.

Last March she made her England U20s debut before receiving an England transition contract.

While at Mansfield the full back played for England North.

Mansfield Rugby Club’s Aisha Jah and Evie Haskell have been selected as part of the Elite Player Squad ahead of the U18 Women’s Six Nations.
