Mansfield MP Ben Bradley joined Conservative Nottinghamshire county councillors for Mansfield East, Nigel Moxon and Robert Corden, on a litter-pick in the local area.

They wanted to raise awareness of how important it is to keep the community tidy and for people to put their litter in a bin.

The trio focused on collecting litter on Jubilee Way South.

Ben said: “We had a brilliant day. It’s great to work together as a team and do something that will benefit local residents.

“The only downside is that my car now smells of stale food and tinnies — all for a good cause though so I don’t mind!

“It’s vitally important we all do our bit to keep our community tidy. We live in a beautiful part of the world and it isn’t fair to just chuck litter all over the place.

“I’ve received loads of positive feedback from constituents across Mansfield and Warsop about our litter pick, and I hope it will encourage others to do their bit to clean up Mansfield.”
