MP backs Nottinghamshire Big Vaccination Weekend

Posted onPosted on 23rd Jun
Mansfield MP Ben Bradley is encouraging people to take advantage of Nottinghamshire’s Big Vaccination Weekend and receive coronavirus jabs.
This weekend,  25th -28th June, residents who are eligible for a vaccination can walk in to nine venues across the county and receive either their first or second dose of the vaccine. The centres will be open from 8am to 8pm and will all be offering both the Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccinations.
Anybody who received their first dose before 30th April will be able to receive their second vaccination. No appointments are necessary.
Ben said: “It is great to see an increase in vaccine supply for Nottinghamshire and even better to see initiatives like the Nottinghamshire Big Vaccination Weekend, to ensure those extra jabs end up in people’s arms. We know the vaccines are the way back to normal life and the more people who receive their jab, hopefully the quicker we can lift the last of the lockdown restrictions.
“It is also great to see sites local to Mansfield, like the old Wickes store, taking part in this event, meaning there is lots of availability to my constituents. I received my jab at the old Wickes store a few weeks ago and I would encourage everybody who can, to get out and get vaccinated.”
