Free courses are available for those over 19, depending on circumstances, at the ATTFE College of Vehicle Technology.

The college said it was offering flexible opportunities to allow a stepping stone into the motor vehicle repair industry. It offers full-time and part-time courses

The unit includes a workshop with various vehicles for training and developing real-life skills in repairing cars, as well as a classroom/IT suite and a smaller learning area.

Courses available include:
• Level 1 Motor Vehicle Mechanics
• Level 2 Motor Vehicle Mechanics
• Level 3 Motor Vehicle Mechanics
