Discount supermarket chain Lidl is looking at creating stores in three further sites in Mansfield and Ashfield.

The German discount retailer wants to double its existing portfolio in Nottinghamshire to 20 and to continue what it describes as its phenomenal growth.

According to a property requirement brochure published on the Lidl website two new stores are being looked at for the Mansfield area (north west and south) and one in Kirkby.

The chain said it was seeking freehold, leasehold or long leasehold opportunities on prominent sites in town, district, edge of centre or out of town locations.
