Members of Soroptimist International Mansfield and District have been sewing dresses for girls in Sierra Leone as part of a project led by the Thames Valley branch.

Gill Curry talk about the dresses and their distribution to the Mansfield group, which has made and sent 492 dresses.

A spokesman said: “We would like to thank Bracton Interiors, Mansfield; Team Tots Clothing factory, Eastwood; Deirdre Robinson; and all the ladies who helped by donating fabric, threads and sewing.”
